Captivating Artificial Meadow Flowers at The Wishful Thinker in Kent
HeiDesigns have been transforming the portfolio of hospitality venues for The Elite Pubs Group over the last 5 years.
The Wishful Thinker is Elite’s 12th pub and 14th venue, based in the heart of the Lenham countryside in Kent.
It’s their largest pub venue to date; a new sleepover foodie pub hosting a range of events, food and drink experiences and live entertainment.
The team were looking for an immersive floral concept to bring this impressive venue to life.
Bringing our artificial wild meadow flowers concept to life
With such an evocative name – we drew inspiration from the humble Dandelion symbolizing hope, dreams and wishes.
With his wildflower friends, we used the finest artificial meadow flowers to create this beautiful faux floral design.
Our floral vision promotes feelings of freedom, optimism and connectivity, whist presenting an enticing invitation to step out of the everyday and enjoy this atmospheric venue.
Dining, drinking, fun, entertainment, and conversation are offered here like the open arms of a wild blossoming meadow.
The floral journey starts with a showpiece entrance installation featuring a stunning array of artificial wild meadow flowers, beautifully positioned and placed with our signature meandering floral styling.
We celebrate wildflowers and their natural movement, softening the corners and structure of the venue. Finishing touches were added with a mix of hanging planters and mixed planted bowls throughout the venue and hotel rooms.
The styling continues to integrate the private dining area, where a similar meadow themed installation, delicately grows up from the corner and across the beam towards the centre of the room.
Working again with a soft yellow and blue colour palette of our favourite wildflowers, including fabulous Dandilions, Delphinium and Campanula, working in perfect harmony with the interior décor, fabrics, and artwork.
An immersive Wildflower ceiling canopy is the focal point in the main room
Leading to the extensive main room, we designed an organic themed ceiling installation, beautifully cascading overhead and bursting with all the colours of a summer meadow.
Meandering vines and branches weave in and out of the white wooden pergola, contrasting seamlessly.
Our faux floral choices feature dainty Buttercups, Daisies, Cow Parsley and dancing Poppies to name a few, alongside leafy green foliage, and textured trailing plants.
To compliment the feature ceiling installation, we additionally dressed the two front pillars with a symmetrical design, leading the eye from the ground and up to the magnificent ceiling florals.
To finalise our immersive wild meadow concept, we enhanced the bar area with a smaller accent installation.
Working again with matching florals to those seen and in the main room, this beautiful addition also offers a fantastic photo opportunity, putting smiles on faces and adding a pop of vibrant colour to this area.
