A Sustainable Faux Floral Vision
Founder, Heidi Lawley grew up in the Shropshire countryside where she was endlessly inspired by the beauty and grounding benefits of nature.
After extensively studying and training in traditional floristry, Heidi wanted to capture the spirit of nature without compromising our natural plant and flower resources and environment.
Our team includes RHS Chelsea Flower Show medalists from Gold, Silver-Gilt, Silver, and Bronze, alongside other award-winning floral professionals. With years of training and experience, we’ve now delivered over 1,000 projects, from intimate residential concepts to grand-scale installations.

Based in London, Kent, and surrounding areas, our designers combine creativity with responsibility, ensuring every project reflects artistry and our commitment as a sustainable floral business.

Long-Lasting and Reusable
Our arrangements are designed to last for years, not days. Unlike fresh flowers, which fade quickly and require repeated replacement, our designs can be restyled and reused, minimising waste over time.
Lower Carbon Footprint
Fresh flowers are often flown internationally, stored under refrigeration, and delivered repeatedly which is an energy-intensive process. Faux flowers, in contrast, are transported only once for long-term use, significantly reducing per-use emissions.
Reduced Water & Pesticide Use
Fresh flowers require large amounts of water and are frequently treated with pesticides and fertilizers, which can harm ecosystems. By choosing faux flowers, we conserve resources and support a more responsible approach to floral design.

Sustainable Flower Arrangement for City Harvest
HeiDesigns were recently appointed by food rescue organisation, City Harvest to bring a special vision to life to transform their Acton food depot into a vibrant floral wonderland for a night of celebration.
Inspired by the theme of nourishment, our concept, “A Floral Feast,” represented the connectivity that City Harvest brings to communities through its work to redistribute food to combat food poverty and food waste.
In line with City Harvest’s values, every element of the floral feast décor was designed with sustainability principles. Taking centre stage for the event’s setting was a bespoke flower wall which we built with flowering artificial blooms, designed to be repurposed and reused for future events.
From large statement arrangements to cascading hop vines consciously dressing the industrial architecture, each element was created to set a warm, inviting tone while minimising environmental impact.
Our team also sourced surplus flowers from local florists, repurposing their excess stock to create a vivid and meaningful setting without added waste.
